San Pedro Elementary School:
On January 25, 2008 I did a map presentation to two first grade classes and two third classes, back to back. The picture is the third graders. Each group had about 60 children. I discussed the Texas geological age and showed some fossils from the Wright’s gravel pit to give them an idea of “what used to live in their backyard.” On February 12, 2008, I was asked to come back to San Pedro Elementary school to give the same presentation to 45 fourth graders.
