Corpus Christi Montessori School:
The Map Presentation was given to fourth, fifth, and sixth graders at the Corpus Christi Montessori School. At this point they had been studying the geologic time scale, and were up to the Devonian period. I was pretty impressed with the students’ curiosity about geology, and their understanding of U.S. geography. Overall, it was a good time talking about what makes geology such an interesting science, and knowing that this map could spark the imagination of a future geologist. Ismael Arreola Geologist |
